OUR STORY
Top Notch Turf and Pest aka “TNT” is a locally owned and operated lawn care and pest control company. As a family-owned business, we can concentrate on doing what is right for our customers without pressure from stockholders or investors. We are dedicated to our deeply rooted desire to provide great results and an excellent customer experience. Therefore, we see nearly 75% of our growth is driven by our results. Customer referrals have made up 59% and an additional 14% of our customers said is was because they saw the results of our services at a neighbor’s home. As a small business, TNT’s growth is relied upon being dedicated to delighting our customers not snazzy expensive TV, Radio, or Web advertising. All of this is possible because of TNT’s great hardworking employees.
TNT was born from an idea in 2004 by the founding partner John Milby. He set the company up while working 12-hour days 6 days a week, and he was in the company’s first truck in 2007. John worked diligently building the company and brand. In 2012, he partnered with Ryan Scoggins to open the Houston, TX Top Notch Turf. They added the new services of Pest Control and Mosquito Control in late 2019. The Top Notch Turf and Pest’s ownership share over 40 years of combined lawn care, landscape care, pest control, and mosquito control experience.
